Vacancy – Customs Supervior
Location – Vienna, Austria; Istanbul, Turkey.
Job Overview
Deliver quality service leadership at given territory in Customs Agency and Customs management through strong multi-functional process leadership, supporting business owners with management functional expertise.
Responsibilities
- Ensure effective maintenance of an optimal customs agents portfolio for the local business unit, perform negotiations, contract design and sign up, implementation and supervision.
- Provide governance and control over future change activities, ensuring delivery to time, to budget and to agreed business case of key metrics.
- Support local Management in terms of customs, duties and relevant tax obligations.
- Create, implement and improve processes and systems related to the role and deliver training to activity owners and stakeholders ensuring efficient execution.
- Accountable for the order to delivery process and ensuring continuous improvement across the business unit and with given suppliers portfolio.
- Major KPIs for the role: On Time Customs Clearance, Assigned budget realization, Returns, losses, none-quality.
Requirements
- Experience in customs management and supply chain: at least 2-3 years.
- Excellent English and Turkish languages. Russian will be an advantage.
- Software: Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP as an advantage.
- Broad business mindset, strong interpersonal skills, persuasiveness, strong project management skills, ability to work efficiently under pressure.
