Our mission is to actively shape the digital future of TV and radio. To strengthen our Innovation Management team at ORS comm GmbH & Co KG, we are looking for a Program Manager.
Your responsibilities:
Innovation Lab & Proof of Concept Program
- You will lead the operational activities of the BIG BLUE MARBLE Innovation Lab and coordinate its day-to-day innovation processes.
- You will organize and facilitate bi-weekly Proof of Concept sprints together with the Full Stack Development team.
- Together with Product Management, you will evaluate ideas entering the innovation funnel, prioritize opportunities, and initiate new PoCs.
- You will coordinate PoCs from idea validation to successful completion, ensuring transparency, alignment, and effective collaboration across technical and business teams.
- You will ensure that all PoCs are properly documented and that their outcomes are transformed into reusable knowledge, technical assets, or follow-up initiatives.
- You will continuously improve Innovation Lab processes, fostering an agile and execution-oriented innovation culture.
Innovation Ecosystem & Strategic Partnerships
- You will represent BIG BLUE MARBLE nationally and internationally within the innovation ecosystem, engaging with universities, research institutions, public organizations, startups, and technology partners.
- You will act as a key contact for strategic collaborations and help identify opportunities for joint innovation activities and research initiatives.
- You will represent BIG BLUE MARBLE at conferences, workshops, exhibitions, and industry events while expanding the professional network and visibility.
- You will contribute to strategic initiatives across the organization, supporting the development of new partnerships and innovation opportunities.
Knowledge Transfer & Innovation Communication
- You will ensure that innovation outcomes are effectively communicated both internally and externally.
- You will support the creation of technical blogs, conference papers, exhibition contributions, presentations, and other dissemination activities.
- You will prepare management-ready summaries, technology assessments, and recommendations based on PoC results and emerging technology trends.
- You will promote knowledge sharing across teams and help translate innovation into long-term business value.
Your skills that inspire us:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Technical Program Management, Product Management, Innovation Labs, R&D, Engineering Management, or a comparable technology-driven role.
- Experience coordinating interdisciplinary teams and driving Proofs of Concept, prototypes, pilot projects, or technology initiatives from ideas to documented outcomes.
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives across engineering, product management, and business teams.
- Comfortable working in agile environments and facilitating sprint-based collaboration, workshops, or cross-functional planning activities.
- Solid understanding of modern software development, cloud technologies, AI trends, media technologies, streaming, or digital platforms.
- Experience collaborating with universities, research institutions, startups, public organizations, or technology partners is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent BIG BLUE MARBLE confidently in national and international innovation networks, conferences, and partner meetings.
- Fluent English C1/C2 and German minimum B2 are required.

In addition to an annual salary in line with the market, we offer a package of benefits consisting of a mobility allowance for the Wiener Linien annual ticket or the Klimaticket, a company canteen, a bonus programme, the pension fund and a sports programme.
Place of work: Vienna with remote option. Working hours: 38.5 hours per week. Reference number: OC1026CINSE. Starting date: 08/2026. For professionals with relevant training and experience, the gross annual salary is between 56,000 and 72,000 euros.
Remote work: You can work from home, from the modern office or hybrid. Details will be discussed in a meeting.
Travel: This position includes occasional national and international business travel, with an expected travel commitment of up to four weeks per year, primarily for conferences, trade fairs, workshops, partner meetings, and industry events.
