Your tasks
- Develop and execute the overall buying strategy, aligning category plans, assortments and private label development with company objectives, market trends, and customer demand
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing buying team, establishing clear KPIs, performance management processes and a culture of continuous growth and accountability
- Own category performance across all divisions, ensuring achievement of sales, margin and stock targets
- Lead assortment planning, trend forecasting and product selection, translating market insights into commercially successful cycle plans
- Manage end-to-end seasonal buying cycles, ensuring timely product selection, order placement and optimal inventory levels while maximizing stock turnover and minimizing markdown risk through agile supply chain management
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with brands, suppliers and key stakeholders, negotiating commercial terms, pricing structures and exclusive product opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandise Planning, Inventory Management, Product Data & Order Management, Marketing and Retail and Online Sales teams to ensure aligned planning and seamless execution
- Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics within the streetwear, boardsports and fashion retail landscape, identifying opportunities to strengthen commercial performance
Our requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion & Management, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field with several years progressive buying experience
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of managing large-scale sales volumes and delivering profitability
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, structure, coach and develop high-performing teams
- Deep passion for fashion, streetwear and boardsports, with a strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends and assortment curation
- Proven ability to build and optimize customer-centric assortments that are differentiated and on trend
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset, capable of translating vision into execution in a fast-paced retail environment
- Advanced analytical, negotiation and supplier management skills
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, communication and decision-making skills
- Entrepreneurial, adaptable and technologically curious, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
We offer you
- The minimum salary according to the applicable collective agreement is EUR 3,698.56 gross per month for a 40-hour work week, based on full fulfillment of the job profile. The actual compensation will be based on individual qualifications and relevant professional experience.
