The Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping, such as posting bank documents and incoming invoices, as well as simple ad hoc analyses in the area of controlling. This position will ensure that the data is up-to-date and correctly processed to further guarantee that the accounting department can provide correct analyses.

Job Duties

• Independent tasks in accounting with focus on accounts receivable accounting including dunning process, asset accounting, bank and closing activities such as accruals, deferrals and provisions.
• Communication and support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Internal communication interface to other departments.
• Data maintenance.
• Support in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to UGB, including preparatory activities for notes and stock report.
• Simple controlling tasks and ad hoc analyses.
• Responsible for administration and reports in MS Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Education and Experience

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a comparable position.
• Successfully completed professional training in accounting, bookkeeping and controlling.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• User knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken German, as well as good English skills.
• Solution-oriented and precise way of working with attention to detail.
• Motivated and responsible team player.

Additional Information

• Salary: Collective Agreement for the Metal Industry, valid from 1 Jan 2026. The minimum full-time gross salary is EUR 2727.40 with the possibility of additional overpayment based on experience and qualifications.
