External Communications Manager (all genders)

As an expert in external communications, you will have the opportunity to apply your strategic and operational expertise to strengthen Frequentis' public relations activities, with a particular focus on international visibility. You will report to the Head of Group Communications and become part of a communications team of 7 EXPERTS FOR A SAFER WORLD.

• Contribute to the strategic development and implementation of the global external communications strategy and actively shape communications across online, social media and print channels.
• Lead and coordinate international media activities in close collaboration with our local Managing Directors and their teams, as well as external agencies, ensuring consistent and impactful execution.
• Together with the Head of Group Communications, develop concepts and measures for crisis communications. In crisis situations, you will support communication management and contribute your experience in working with internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to key corporate and Executive Board projects, helping to strengthen Frequentis' positioning in a sustainable way. In addition, depending on priorities and project workload, you will support the development of an internal newsroom concept to further advance our communications processes and topic management with a future-oriented approach.

• Ability to work effectively in a global matrix organisation, with strong cross-functional and intercultural collaboration skills.
• More than 10 years of experience in international public relations, ideally combining both in-house corporate and agency experience in a technology-driven industry.
• You enjoy working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and impress through empathy, diplomacy and a strong interest in the challenges faced by safety-critical authorities and organisations.
• Experience in crisis communications.
• Experience working with international agencies.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and German.
