Our Center for Digital Safety & Security is looking for new Ingenious Partner for our location in Vienna. Our Competence Unit for Cooperative Digital Technologies is leading in applied research on the development of data-based IT solutions for various application scenarios, including the design of new and innovative solutions supporting society, industry and public administration, in increasing their preparedness and sustainability. As a reliable partner of industry and public authorities, we work on digital tools to enable informed decision making and collaboration, based on current research results and in close collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders and end users.  

Our Sustainable and Resilience Society team strengthens organizational resilience through cross-sector collaboration, developing tech solutions for data collection, sharing, analysis, and knowledge management. We support decision-making in crisis management and sustainable communities, promoting trusted data exchange and AI-driven tools to enhance planning, response, and resilience to environmental and societal challenges

• You work with our interdisciplinary team on cutting-edge digital solutions, supporting the creation and development of digital twins across various sectors to enhance projects related to climate-neutral cities, positive energy districts, and climate and environmental initiatives
• You become familiar with data-driven methodologies and connectivity technologies that drive innovation in sustainable community development and climate resilience.
• You support us in international research projects, gaining valuable insights into technological advancements and applied research methodologies.

• Based on your field of study and expertise, you will actively contribute to our ongoing projects in one of the research areas: Digital Twin Development, Climate or AI-driven Knowledge Services and Decision Support.
• You will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with experienced researchers and connect with other bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD students in a collaborative and inspiring research environment.
• You contribute to the execution of national and international projects, gaining valuable experience and deep insights into our innovative technological landscape.
