KG Organisation SE CFO Geschäftsbereich Transformation of Industry Vollzeit / Teilzeit Vollzeit Erfahrungsniveau Senior Management / Vorstand A Snapshot of Your Day As Head of Business Controlling you take financial ownership of one of the four Individual Managed Businesses (IMB) within Siemens Energy's Transformation of Industry Business Area, a business of roughly €1 billion euros in revenue. You join at a genuinely formative moment: on 25 August 2026 Siemens Energy announced preparations for the legal and operational separation of Transformation of Industry into a standalone company, a fast-growing business with around 17,000 employees, €6 billion of revenue and a double-digit profit margin. You will therefore not only run business controlling, you will help define what business controlling looks like in an independent industrial energy solutions company. Your day moves between the numbers and the people behind them: a forecast review with the business leadership in the morning, a working session on carve-out financials at midday, coaching one of your controllers through a complex margin question in the afternoon. You lead an international team of more than 15 employees, you are the trusted sparring partner of the management team of your Individual Managed Business, and you translate strategy into financial results that stand up to scrutiny from investors, auditors and future owners alike. As preparations for a potential standalone company progress, the future Finance organization is also beginning to take shape: at the moment, the central Business Controlling team of Transformation of Industry is preparing to evolve towards a Corporate FP&A department, potentially bringing together more than 100 finance professionals. Structures, standards and ways of working are still being explored, and the people who join now can contribute to their development. You will not take over a finished set-up - you will have the opportunity to help shape it. In this position you report directly to the Vice President of FP&A and work alongside your peers in the FP&A management team. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Own financial management reporting, performance analysis and operational controlling for your Individual Managed Business, across both the project and the service portfolio
- Design and lead robust forecasting, budgeting and closing processes that are accurate, transparent and aligned across all regions and entities
- Act as strategic business partner to the business leadership, shaping decisions on portfolio, pricing, capacity and investment with high-quality financial insight
- Support the carve-out into a standalone company: standalone cost transparency, separation-related financial effects, reporting readiness and the financial storyline for future owners
- Set and execute the digital roadmap for the area, using data analytics, automation and AI to optimize the quality and speed of reporting and business insight
- Provide financial expertise for M&A, strategic initiatives and ad-hoc requests, and act as the primary interface for financial information, including investor-facing topics
- Lead, develop and inspire a diverse, multi-regional finance team and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- An advanced degree (Bachelor, Master or PhD) in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
- At least five years in senior financial leadership roles with a strong background in business controlling and financial management; operational experience in sales or project execution is a plus
- Deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting and reporting, with a proven track record of leading standardized planning and reporting processes in complex, global environments
- Exposure to carve-out, separation, post-merger integration or IPO-readiness work, or the appetite and resilience to take it on for the first time
- Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, engaging credibly at every organizational level and across multicultural, cross-regional teams
- Strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking with a results-oriented big-picture mindset, high integrity and the courage to challenge the status quo
- Proficiency in SAP and other financial systems, advanced Excel and digital analytics tools
- Fluent in English
