Your mission

As Business Development Representative (m/f/d) – Austria, you will identify and develop new business opportunities and engage prospective customers with our software solutions. You will work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams and take ownership of your leads and opportunities from day one. You can look forward to a varied sales role with plenty of room to grow professionally and contribute to our continued growth in Austria.

• Generate new business opportunities across Austria by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads.
• Qualify inbound leads and follow up with prospects to understand their needs and identify potential opportunities.
• Conduct outbound outreach in alignment with the regional sales team, using phone, email, and social selling to engage potential customers.
• Clearly communicate the value of GBTEC solutions to prospective customers.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on targeted lead generation campaigns for the Austrian market.
• Work closely with a senior sales professional based in Vienna to drive regional success.
• Maintain accurate prospect and customer information in the CRM system and support effective pipeline management.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and qualified opportunity targets.
• Share insights from prospect interactions to help improve sales and marketing strategies.
• Participate in regular training and team meetings to align on strategy and share best practices.

Your profile

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in business development or a related sales role, with a focus on lead generation and pipeline development.
• Experience working in a small business or start-up environment.
• A track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a technology-driven environment.
• Experience reaching potential customers through cold calling, email, and social selling, ideally in SaaS or enterprise software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
• Strategic thinking, attention to detail, and familiarity with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools.
• Strong communication skills in German and English.

The minimum annual gross salary according to the applicable Austrian collective agreement is 35.658€. Depending on your qualifications and relevant experience, we are prepared to offer a higher salary.
