To further strengthen and strategically develop our international payment activities, we are creating the position of Group Head of Payment Solutions. We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader with deep expertise in the payments industry, strong commercial acumen, and a proven ability to successfully lead international teams and partner networks.Your Responsibilities You will drive the strategic development of our payment solutions, taking ownership of business development, partner management, and sales enablement activities. Working closely with Axess and DESIGNA, you will identify and unlock new market opportunities while driving sustainable growth across our global business.
- Develop and execute the international business strategy for the Payment Solutions division;
- Take full responsibility for revenue growth, profitability, and the commercial development of the business area;
- Drive the strategic evolution and market positioning of the payment portfolio, including the development of market-oriented products and service offerings;
- Manage and expand international payment partnerships while overseeing key supplier relationships;
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to support the global sales organization;
- Support strategic customer projects and develop sales and proposal concepts;
- Establish relevant KPIs and continuously optimize processes, margins, and the customer experience;
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Technology, Finance and Operations;
- Identify and realize new business opportunities and international growth potential;
- Further develop a scalable organization and efficient business processes to ensure sustainable business success.
Your profile You are an entrepreneurial leader who thrives in taking commercial ownership, understands technology, and has a proven track record of successfully developing and scaling international business models.
- Several years of experience in the payments, fintech, or financial technology industry;
- Degree or higher professional qualification with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience;
- Proven success in Business Development, Commercial Product Management, or Business Unit Management;
- Strong understanding of payment processing, acquiring, payment service providers (PSPs), and international payment markets;
- Excellent commercial acumen with expertise in pricing, business models, and profitability management;
- Experience collaborating with international sales organizations and technology partners;
- Strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands-on, and results-oriented approach;
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across international teams;
- Fluency in English is required; German language skills are considered an advantage.

For legal reasons, we are required to point out that the minimum salary for this position is EUR 47,810.14 gross per year based on full-time employment. However, what matters most to us is your personality, professional expertise, and commitment. We offer an attractive, performance-based salary that is individually tailored to your qualifications and professional experience and is significantly above the collective agreement for employees in the metalworking industry.
