Marketing Specialist (m/f/d)

Your tasks
Strategy & Brand Management
- Co-develop and implement GeoVille's marketing strategy in close coordination with the Managing Directors and Commercial Director.
- Continuously evolve the corporate identity and ensure consistent, professional brand representation across all channels.
- Position GeoVille in the international B2B landscape vis-a-vis European institutions, space agencies and government authorities.
High-End Graphics & Digital Content Production
- Independently create high-quality graphic material at a professional level: presentations, infographics, campaign assets, brochures and data visualisations.
- Produce visually compelling digital content for web, LinkedIn, newsletters and trade publications.
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual language, layout systems and templates across the organisation.
- Produce video clips and/or 3D animations with a focus on space and Earth observation topics.
- Leverage state-of-the-art AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency and quality in content production.
Web, Social Media & Content Planning
- Further develop and maintain GeoVille's website using WordPress/Elementor, newsletter using MailChimp and social media presence, primarily LinkedIn.
- Develop and execute a consistent, high-quality content plan with a minimum of four posts per month.
- Monitor and analyse web and social media KPIs and implement data-driven optimisation measures.
Project Marketing & Events
- Create project-specific marketing materials and impact communications for ESA, European Commission and other institutional projects.
- Conceptualise, plan and execute trade fair appearances, internal events and HR marketing initiatives.
- Support project managers and the management team across all marketing tasks.
Your profile
Education & Professional Experience
- Completed education in marketing, communications, media design, graphic design or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in marketing, ideally in a technology-driven or B2B environment.
- Experience working in the space industry with international or institutional clients such as EU institutions, ESA or government agencies is a must.
Graphic Design & Creative Excellence
- Demonstrably excellent skills in independently creating high-end graphic material; submission of a portfolio is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; After Effects/Premiere is a plus.
- Confident use of Canva, Figma or Affinity Designer for agile, collaborative design tasks.
- Ability to present scientific and technical content such as satellite imagery, geodata and climate analysis in a visually compelling and accurate manner.
- Experience in video production and/or 3D animation with a focus on space and Earth observation is desired.
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools such as Midjourney, Runway and Adobe Firefly is advantageous.
Digital Marketing & Technology
- Sound understanding of social media platforms, primarily LinkedIn, and web analytics.
- Knowledge of CMS systems such as WordPress/Elementor and Typo3 and email marketing tools.
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly PowerPoint for professional-grade presentations.
- Basic technical understanding of IT and high-tech products; knowledge of the geospatial or space sector is desirable.
Languages & Soft Skills
- Excellent English skills at C1/C2 level, written and spoken.
- Very good German skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex content clearly and persuasively.
- Self-starter with a structured working style and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
