Senior Content Writer & Editor (all genders) – The Storyteller

Viewpointsystem develops award-winning smart glasses in Vienna, bringing hardware, firmware and software together under one roof. In this role, you translate complex technology into engaging stories for B2B audiences, from LinkedIn posts to detailed white papers.

Tasks

• Write clear, engaging articles, newsletters, product texts and white papers for different B2B audiences.
• Develop content ideas and manage each piece through writing, editing and publication.
• Manage the LinkedIn editorial calendar, publish content and engage with the community.
• Research the technology and interview engineers to explain complex subjects accessibly.
• Maintain consistent tone, terminology and language guidelines across communication channels.
• Propose supporting visuals and prepare clear creative briefs for colleagues.
• Use AI text tools critically, combining them with creativity and editorial judgement.
• Organize multiple projects and publication deadlines.

Requirements

• Excellent writing and proofreading skills, with attention to nuance, regional language and accuracy.
• Ability to adapt tone, detail and format to different audiences.
• Several years of demonstrated writing or editing experience, ideally in an agency, publishing house or in-house team.
• Interest in technology and the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Practical social media experience, preferably LinkedIn, and basic familiarity with newsletter tools and content management systems.
• Confident, discerning use of AI writing tools.
• A good eye for imagery and the ability to communicate visual concepts.
• Independent, structured working style, initiative and enthusiasm for teamwork.
• Writing samples, related social posts and examples of image selection or design briefs, identifying your contribution.
• Fluent German and English, with publication-ready writing in both languages.

Employment details

Permanent employment, 38 hours per week. Onsite at Dominikanerbastei 6, 1010 Wien, Österreich. Start as soon as possible; one-month probation period.

The advertised salary range is EUR 3,954–4,700 gross per month. The collective-agreement minimum is EUR 3,954 gross monthly; the actual package reflects experience and qualifications.
